What is everyone up to today? Hubs took kids to the company picnic at an amusement park. I have to clean the garage as best as I am able!

Well it used a toss up between Ross and Ruby. but since you and Ravyn came along. its now a toss up between you and Ravyn . I'm trying to climb a sand dune . that's what it like trying to catch up on this thread. can't reach the top keep sinking in the sand and it slides down around you .

I have to go up the street to practice assembling the Model T with our Women's team.  Since I'm a newbie (and relatively strong) I'll be manning the tripod to lift the engine for the first several steps, then going underneath to install the wishbone, helping to lift the body onto the frame, installing the radiator, then install the driver's side running board.    Demo at the NM State Fair tomorrow!  Men's best time is under 7 minutes, I think our first attempt was like 2 hours

since Listerine is about twenty five percent alcohol they might not do so bad . because alcohol evaporates so quickly and takes moisture with it . not sure what the other ingredients would do  .one things is for sure they'll have kissing fresh breath if they hatch and maybe be a little buzzed too. fit  right in at GNO . it seems like a lot of extra work to me . not something I would do . Amy you or Ruby need to see what their hatch rate is. I don't do FB

I was thinking about the buzz the babies would get! Ima rescuer, and a couple yrs ago i had a puppy with brain damage because of the previous owners giving it a pint of Jack Daniels (i remmember the Brand because we named him Daniel, he needed all the spritual help he could get poor guy!) he was nearly a goner with alcohol poisoning...

ive heard of misting (especially the duck) eggs and as part of the daily "cool" down period, i think Murray Harchary has a page on it idk anyway the problem for me isnt what or how they use it nearly as much as how they Refuse to accept someone elses opinion. That typically tells me, they know it isnt 100% right, if theyre that deffinsive.

I don't like incandescent bulbs because of the heat:light ratio. Replace that bulb with a 100w equivalent CFL and you'll have a great candler.

I do candle medium brown eggs with no trouble, the trick is to ensure that no light leaks around the shell at the opening. Use a donut of foam weatherstripping tape to seal the gap.

they make LEDs that will replace 100 watt bulbs LEDs give a cleaner brighter light. I use a GC 10 track light fixture the bulb is a 50watt replacement . now you can buy LEDs that fit regular light bulb fixtures . Lowes has one and they cost about ten dollars .

Thanks...I do have light leakage around the base, wondered if that may be part of the problem.

If you have a hobby lobby. pick up some peal and stick black felt .curt a hole a little smaller than the hole in your can and stick it to the top this gives you a better fit to your egg. makes candling easier .
