I've really enjoyed having chicks again. It's been a couple years. And I'm really excited to start getting some eggs from these little ones.

don't do ducks but I figured out don't listen to the book  that came with my incubators got on here and found out I was right  . glad you were able to get a good one at a good price. how much longer on the ducks.

Too long! Like forever! For real im just gna pull all my hair out... Due on the 25th is day 28... Fri after this one... Im not sure im gna make it

Also, i added six chicken eggs lol! I adopted some hens and they started my pullets and i couldnt resist... At least though! I did it on purpous at the right time! I introduced em to the bator on las friday, SO ducky hatch day will be same as chicky day 21 NO i didnt Plan it! Ive collected my first dozen off these girls

AND someone has spoken for all 22 of my duckies eggs and my one cajuga drake whos for sale

Well as soon as he calls me tomorrow that he's leaving Denver, I know I've got about 6 1/2 hours to get it done. 

I can still procrastinate.

I love procrastinating! I work best with a deadline. So you've got plenty of time! As soon as he calls just start cleaning!

Thanks, they need work on their colors though... and they were laying great 2 weeks ago, now they're freeloading, lol... got 1 egg in the last week...
Just curious, what line(s) are yours from? Missed seeing you had thkse, lol...

now I curious has there been more than one person who imported cream legbars?

Your coop is really cute!  With all those different feather colors, it will be neat to see how they all feather out as they grow.

How old is your Welsummer Roo?

Thanks! I've never been able to focus on one breed because I like the mix. But I'm thinking I might focus on the welsummers. I have 4 two week old pullets. My rooster is about 6 months.

Thanks! I'm almost there. I have the flower boxes in on the side and underneath the laying boxes left to put in and plant the flowers.

Ok, disregard my previous post, I'm a big dumby, lol. It was a speckle on the outside that made it look like a pip. Go ahead, laugh at me, I'll actually laugh with you, lol. Anyway, all 9 are still very active. By pure chance my husband brought home a hunting flashlight that is ULTRA bright and all my candling problems are in the past, this thing lights up these eggs like they were white!! So awesome! I saw toes and a beak and I swear I could see feathers on some of them. I'll take a pic tomorrow and post it for you guys. The light only has a 1 1/4 hour battery life and I don't want to kill it the first night. Especially since it's not supposed to be for candling, lol. I've hijacked his light before he could even really use it.

I don't think so... Widget Creek does import some breeds, but I don't believe Cream Legbars is one... my Sulmtalers are WC & GFF for instance...

But GFF imported 4 different lines of Cream Legbars, A, B, C and Jill Rees lines... they've dropped all the earlier lines and now only sell Rees lines... I'm not a fan of those, so mine are a mix of the other 3 older lines...

Oh, and nope, wasn't born Southern, bless your heart... had several say the same thing, lol...

Man, I've gotten eggsicles before!  Frozen pretty good.  But most of the time, even during the middle of winter here, I've had eggs shipped in a pretty decent manner, and have gotten great results.
