I really don't know. He's in a brooder right now. I will probably try to feed him until he is strong enough to make it in the tree on his own.
Then shoot him...
Dang cat should have found him before I did. There is nothing blue about this

That's my boy too! lolI've got pics somewhere. I know I've posted some on byc, I'll look for them.
My 9 year old is just like that! He'll make friends with anyone! Kids, adults, it doesn't matter. So they'll get along great. And he's a big animal lover and super hero freak.
That's bad!You know, he might could help me sex them sooner. Squirrels love nuts
Wait, I missed it, you have a squirrel in the brooder??
Absolutely! I'm a bit of a freak about under done meats, better to be safe than sorry, besides that's what BBQ sauce is for right? We always have a wet acid brine and a dry salt brine both that we use.
Great Idea, let me know if it works please! I would love to make one for the kids targets if it catches them!We also get off subject on occasion... lots of occasions... So since I know we have some shooters around here, I thought I'd show off my new targets.
Had to buy new tires for my car yesterday (cha-ching... OUCH!) So we made targets out of them. Supposedly, the lead will collect in the tire, instead of ending up everywhere, plus they make a nice holder for the steel target:

just what I was going to ask! lolX2, sounds like they need a little more time. Were the air cells getting a lot bigger (drawing down) yet?
if your air cells are that screwy and big, it may be in your BEST interest to stop candling and sit on your hands.... take time to read the guide to assisted hatching to better understand EXACTLY whats going on in there! in my signature is the link! read again and again@Ruby: I couldn't really tell since the cells are so screwy. I think 1 or 2 may hatch tomorrow but I think several will take longer. There's still lots of fluid in some of them. And the #12 egg still has a loose section in the cell. He's the most underdeveloped. That egg is just huge though. I mean REALLY big.
until drawdown (when the chick starts to absorb excess fluids) their will be fluid....Ok, when I candled earlier, depending on the angle that I candled from, on some of the eggs, it looked like a solid mass from 1 angle but from a different angle there looks like fluid all the way up the side of the egg up to the air cell, is that normal?
K, I think I'm going to sit on my hands and just wait from now on, lol. My air cells still look small though, do you think I should cut the humidity back? Right now it's around 65%Great Idea, let me know if it works please! I would love to make one for the kids targets if it catches them!
