I would love to meet more BYC people, especially BYC910. I've only met the gal I got my last eggs from, and I didn't know beforehand that she was a BYC person. I've talked to a few on the phone though, and text with several! Its cool to get to know some of these folks. Oh and Amy and Ruby are coming to my camp someday!! Meeting BYC was like a reunion with an old friend... seriously... and he should be a fave for sure... much respectfor him... No, sc is the 3 year old, so we all outrank him no matter what...

I'd make a pit and do a whole hog...and a bunch of wings...and maybe a brisket...and of course some sausage.

We also get off subject on occasion... lots of occasions... So since I know we have some shooters around here, I thought I'd show off my new targets. Had to buy new tires for my car yesterday (cha-ching... OUCH!) So we made targets out of them. Supposedly, the lead will collect in the tire, instead of ending up everywhere, plus they make a nice holder for the steel target:

Ok I think someone (probably Ruby) asked about my little ones and I didn't answer. If it was another thread, I apologize for boring you guys with it, but they are doing so well! Eating like little piggies, growing, feathering in so pretty. I hope I'm wrong, but I think only 4 of 7 goldens are girls. I banded them this morning and made some notes so I can see if my guesses are right, once I can tell for sure. That black one (silver sebright x birchen modern) is getting the biggest, and still very pretty. The OEGBs wings are just gorgeous. The little lone Jap is growing well too.

Yup it was me and this thread too! You can't possible bore us with details of small chickens!! That's the point of this whole shabang!
