She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Ok... update... Just did a full candling and I lost 1 more of the expensive eggs so now I'm down to 11. I don't want to jinx myself but most of the others look awesome with real nice, fat veins and most of the embryos look to be pretty big. I have a concern though, the air cells look VERY small so should I leave the humidity alone at 40% or bump it up to 50%... I'm not sure what to do??
You would want to DECREASE the humidity if the air cells are smaller than they should be according to the age.

Post photos, and how many days along.  Pics are priceless with questions like this.
K, I'll take a few pics and see if I can get them to post, I'm working with mobile, lol. Today is day 18 so it's lockdown time, that's why I was asking if I should leave it or increase it a small amount instead of going up to 60% like I'm supposed to.

Yes, pics would be awesome. If they are small you can run dry until for another day, then lockdown.

That would be wonderul!!!! Wicket is his favorite and wants to get more like her or any color other than white. ..I also like the splashes. Lol!!!

Ok! Sounds good.

Hoping you have a great hatch with the remaining ones!

Sorry it's taking so long, the wonderful egg provider finally emailed me back and got kind of nasty with me!! She said she had offered to clean them, which she didnt (not that I would've let her anyway) but she also said she will replace them but she has 2 more orders to fill before she can do that. I told her to let me know when she thinks she can do it and if it's going to take a while I'll wait til spring. She also said she knows another breeder that she can get me in contact with if I don't want to wait that long. Anyway, I'm going to try to post a few pics now.

Decided to give y'all an actual candling pic :) This is 1 of the 1's with nice veins, some look even better but I didn't want to keep opening the bator to find them, lol.

I would agree the air cells look small for lockdown. Personally, I would run dry until I either heard chirping from inside the shell or saw the first pip, and I would hatch upright in cut down cartons.

Didn't realize that today was lock down.  If you can check the bator every couple of hours, you could wait till the first internal pip, then jump up to 65%.
Is there a way to check for internal pips without candling? I'm trying to handle them as little as possible. I guess I can do what I have been doing and candle them without moving them out of the bator.

K, so I should put them in a carton? Is there another way I could do that, I don't have any cartons right now. I threw the carton I got them in away cause it was filthy, it had Kool Aid or juice or something spilt all over it and some other nasty stuff, along with poop and dirt from the eggs.

You could get a toilet paper/paper towel cardboard roll and cut it short. You might have to put some tissue or something around the base to hold it up, but that would at least hold it upright. A ring of heavy construction paper might work as well.
