She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

OMG... someone please help me!! The last chick to hatch will not shut up, lol. She just keeps crying. Loudly! The only time she's quiet is when I'm holding her or if I make a nest for her in my lap and cover her up. Will she eventually stop if I put her in the brooder and wait it out? She's driving me crazy!!
ETA: This has been going on since 5 when she hatched. She's been quiet for the last 30 minutes or so cause I've had her in my shirt.

As said earlier, that isn't normal and isn't good. Something hurts or something internally isn't wired right.

I've also seen blind chicks do this.

I can't crack an egg without checking, even though I have no intention of incubating till spring. Gotta see if Jack is doing his job. He's got 20 girls to satisfy now. And it'll soon be 24. I've no doubt he's up to the challenge.

My two boys have 130 hens to cover and I get 80%+ fertility...

Yep, I flip my eggs, after checking them bulls eyes, then smash the yolk, so it's not so runny when i eat it. A dollop of salsa. Morning not complete without one. Yeah... some would think we were one sandwich short of a picnic. But, we're happy in our little worlds.

Looks like a RIR x RIW aka Golden Comet, Red Sex Link, etc. However, it looks "boyish" to me and if so it would likely be a 2nd gen cross of red sex link and something else.

Busy boys! I'd say that's beyond an excellent fertility rate for that ratio, huh?

After the discussion about hens only having so many eggs to lay in their lifetime, I wonder... does a rooster have a limited amount of "sperm"?

This is Grata Barn, Grata for short. I'm still trying to figure out how to pronounce it. # 8 hatched around 3 AM and he's doing fine also. His feet are curling but I put some boots on him so he should be fine. I'll post a pic of him in a second, he won't hold still long enough for me to get a good pic right now.
