She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

What I think is humidity temperature has ben steady . our humidity has been al over the place. no eggtopsie but I could see there was to much fluid around them .just glade I got as many as I did . the down side as I was walking around in the rain feeding this morning . it hit me holy **** I have to build laying houses for two more breeds . Had I not went to Ravyns place I wouldn]t be in this mess. but her chickens are so nice and so tame . already started one . I am going to be able to use a whole tub of the damp rid in the GQFs . When I get them going I'll try that and see If it helps.

The GQFs are pretty good about killing humidity on their own. I ran mine in our humid summer, didn't have to add any water to the Eco 20 but did have to keep about 72 square inches wet in the GQF to maintain ambient humidity. There is a LOT of airflow in the box.

There's a Leahy on there too... I'd get it if I were you... j/s...

Considering I haven't hatched a darn thing I think a Leahy and GQF would be overkill. Let me see if I can hatch a thing first.

I'm sure Walnut has things pretty well covered but the GQFs are up towards that way.

@happygirl71 , I am pretty sure by now if someone wanted to check on your new thread, they would. So I think you could give it a bit of a rest. There are plenty of people to answer your questions but give it time. You could also check the learning center or do some old school searching.

At $100 for a 4 tray Leahy, that's a steal... and much easier to use than a styro...

True but I think there is the whole process of having $100 plus transport, plus gas prices to go pick it up out of state....

So I will start small and fiddly for the time being.
