More Outback AnticsHaha! I love that!

I grew up at the beach but I never learned to surf. Surfers stay connected to their boards by a leash so the board doesn't end up far away after a wipe out.I could handle Hawaii! The surfing... likely not lol!![]()
I love the livestock queuing up for their gifts and Santa rescuing the hens from that snake! Go, Santa!
Thank you! I swear people who have lived here their entire lives sure act like they don't know how to drive in this weather. The side streets are around here are always a mess as the plows don't get to them till after they've done all the main streets, so I'm definitely gonna have some trouble with sliding on them.Drive safely and be aware of other drivers. Some of them are usually the problem. Especially around the holidays, when tourists unused to the road conditions are around.
Stay safe!25°F while feeling like 18°F with 87% humidity and a 22°F dew point and SE winds at 6mph.
Snow is going to taper off and end this evening but the skies will remain cloudy with a low of 18°F and winds that are light and variable. 70% chance of snow and accumulation around 1 inch.
We are under a winter weather advisory until midnight with snow and winter driving conditions occurring and total snow accumulations are between 1-4 inches with the highest being south of the Kankakee River Valley area.
My dad said the main roads are pretty clear and the side streets are a mess but that while I'll have some problems on the side streets that I should have no problems driving once I get onto the main streets.
Where are you at???55 at 9:25. Today's high should be 67.
I might have tried it when I was younger... now the board probably would knock me for a loop and end up not knowing up from down. Likely ending badly!I grew up at the beach but I never learned to surf. Surfers stay connected to their boards by a leash so the board doesn't end up far away after a wipe out.

I'm paranoid of being knocked unconscious by the surfboard kicking around in the waves after a wipe out (that does happen sometimes). So I never learned to surf, despite spending the first thirty years of my life on the beach.
Sharks? Not bothered. A surfboard? Bothered. Go figure.![]()
