Sounds like the song Leroy Troy does on the Marty Stuart Show; "I'm My Own Grandpa"

I love that song.

There's not a single side of this box that is not caved in.... I am so mad.

The eggs were packaged perfectly!!! Oh and when I went to pick the box up a the p.o the guy weighed it and handed it to me sideways!!! It says this side up and has arrows all the way around and a note on the bottom too....I have no clue how these will hatch now after being scrambled. So bummed.
These are bantam ameraucana eggs.

Sorry about the losses. I can guarantee that during the process from shipper handoff to post office until the time it arrives in your hands, the box has been every which way. Just turning the box over or on end doesn't do any harm, it's g-forces associated with dropping, tossing, bouncing that do the damage. And crushing is certainly not good for shells.

Exactly why I won't do shipped eggs. I might drive to WV's place someday, or Sally's, or Megan's, but no shipping. Cheaper to buy "local" (kinda) than to pay good $$ for eggs, then pay to ship them in the hands of a bunch of dimwits who evidently can't read & obviously don't care.

@RubyNala97

I have paper towels down as a barrier from the wire floor. Then I put 2 dishes in with sponges to wick up water. And the Wells are filled up in the base. And my humidity is holding at 52%. When I add warm water to it it will jump up to about 75% then after an hour it's back down to 52%. I don't understand!!!

Hmmm.... Is there any condensation?

See....I think I need to get a new one. I had issues with my last hatch also...remember. it's time lol!!!

Stick it in the bag with a salt slushy for a few hours and see where it's at.

SC feels more like Seattle for the last month. Time to break out the flannel and Pearl Jam

Oh no! How many eggs came? How many have cracks? How are the air cells?

12 eggs. One noticably cracked. Air cells...well a few seem fine. The rest are hard to see...blue shells but I'm letting them set for a bit...poor things. TJ is a world class packer too.the last batch came here fine. Not a mark on the box and no cracks....time will tell how these guys do. They will be fighters if they make it. :)
