She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I've almost caved a couple of times, but I just dread the thought of brooding in the winter. I don't want to keep them in the house. Heck, I was trying to figure out how I could easily heat my woodshop building lol! And hubby won't help

I guess this isn't a good time to mention my plans for a new 12x20 outbuilding, part of which will be partitioned off for a brooder/growout pen, however....
Didn't someone recently finish a new outbuilding at their camp real close to you?

If you have power in it, yiu could do the Mama Heat Pad brooder easy... ask Ruby, she has the link to that thread... :gig

Oh yall are really making this difficult...

I can't brood there. I only go there every other day. But I have 2 garages, a detached office, and a woodshop, so now the wheels are in motion.

THANK YALL VERY MUCH!! (if I don't return tomorrow, its cause hubby hospitalized me for asking to incubate again) :lau

We're happy to oblige...our work here is done

Woodshop sounds perfect...already has the facilites & raw materials for making your own bedding; maybe even a vacuum system. Building any needed partitions would be real handy, as well.
Need any more incentives???

But... we want to see Armand's children!! I know! Tell him you only get to see Lady Grey's if we get to see Armand's!! :lau

Ya know, I can't do woodworking anymore. No time. So I might as well convert it. :)

And I really wanna see Armand's babies too. I'd rather see his and Katherine's, but Daisy might just have to do! I wish I could tell my 2 silkie eggs apart, because one is prettier than the other, but I just can't seem to catch them in the box. Might have to consider vent coloring.

Nice!! It was 94 or 96, can't remember now, lol... and the only big one I ever weighed...

Our big girl duck laid her 3rd egg today and it's already up to 65g... she's gonna lay monsters when she tops out, lol...

I dont regularly weigh them anymore, but had to weigh that big sucker. I've gotten a couple large duck eggs, but she's pretty consistent now. And I've had a few really large chicken eggs but this one has to be tops! Especially since they've been laying for a few months now.
I thought all you had were calls? You have full size ducks too? 65g would be huge for a call, right?
