thank you Friday I'll replace the glass with plastic in a few. live through these from time to time . now to find out why  . there is a reason the Autsim symbol is a puzzle . always a guessing game . first time he broke glass through. already had replaced the lower glass for safety  now the top . good thing there was curtain there . 

I just watched a video about a young boy who has autism and his parents started giving him cannabis oil and it helped calm him and he stopped beating himself up. It was a heartbreaking video to watch esp when he beat himself bloodied but that stuff worked like magic. He just looked happier and healthier. Just an option to think about.

I watched videos of the little bator in operation . seems there is a design flaw . the little fin that separates the eggs dose not seem to be tall enough . question are they tall enough to take something and put it on them .it appears to me that the eggs touching each other is the problem . my first thought was a drinking straw split and placed on them would do it but I don't think it would be tall enough. but can't think of anything that might do it . but whatever it is it needs to separate the eggs so they do not touch one another . if the fin was tall enough to do that . It then would turn the eggs. am I wrong in my assumption ?

I think this is why the two smallest ones are turning

I was thinking about that yesterday and was trying to come up with something to give the ring a little elevation. What about gluing a washer with the same ID, or cutting a thin piece of plastic to fit over the hole? Just something to give it a little more height to catch the egg, but still smooth enough for it to roll. Just a thought

I candled all 36 quail eggs. 2 blood rings, 1 clear and 33 developing!!! OMG!!

One was quite oval and I couldn't see the air cell when I set it. Guess what? I set it upside down. But its developing, so I flipped it. Not sure what will happen with it, but looks like I better get to fixing my old bator as a hatcher real quick!

I'm ok had a bad night which you will read about tomorrow son broke out a window in the door. we went through what they call a melt down . he is ok and calm now . showered me with the glass . but you just made me smile . and feel better. so thank you

I know about autism meltdown's all too well.

Ok, I can't remember if I posted it on this thread, but I'm on days 9 and 11 with the fertile eggs combined from two sets that were 2 days apart. I'm still having fertility issues with my black rooster, so I combined all developing eggs in one set. I have 21 AMs cruising towards lockdown next Wednesday

I set 15 from the black AM and 10 from the cuckoo marans on Saturday. I will candle that set this Saturday, and if it's a bust I will reset that incubator with 2 dozen eggs from my splash rooster that is hitting 95% plus
