She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I based that on having my cabinet full of turkey eggs all of March.  Someone forgot to tell my girls to lay, so I have a few eggs trickling in there every few days.  It's the mother of all staggered hatches and while putting them in is easy enough, staging them to hatch every 1-10 days can get crazy.

I could fill my incubator now just as easily if eggs are available.  I have room for up to 192 chicken eggs, I figure I'll load one shelf with home eggs and keep those that hatch from my greens/blues as F3 EEs and market anything that looks like a cockerel plus the ordinary looking ones, and the other shelf with good eggs from @RavynFallen and @frmboyinthecity which will be toe punched and grown out.

Ok. I can start saving some for you whenever you'd like, just say the word. Cracking them, they have all looked fertile to me and they've been with these roosters for close to a month, so there shouldn't be any surprises.

Well that will be just peachy! I'll set what I collect today and tomorrow, and I'll set a new shipped egg set date. Ravyn, how long do you think it would take you to collect enough of whatever you wish to send my way? How about you, frmboyinthecity? And then let's figure out what you want too, I have about 2 weeks before I ship my EEs and roos away. But no worries because I collect over 70 eggs a day, all EEs either F1, F2 or F3.

Ok, I can't remember if I posted it on this thread, but I'm on days 9 and 11 with the fertile eggs combined from two sets that were 2 days apart. I'm still having fertility issues with my black rooster, so I combined all developing eggs in one set. I have 21 AMs cruising towards lockdown next Wednesday

I set 15 from the black AM and 10 from the cuckoo marans on Saturday. I will candle that set this Saturday, and if it's a bust I will reset that incubator with 2 dozen eggs from my splash rooster that is hitting 95% plus
Good luck!!

I never realized how much of a science it is!

Our TSC started carrying them last week. Last year, TSC had no effect whatsoever on my sales

OMG I have to get pics of Frosty, the one in the school room, cause he's been crowing first thing in the morning and if he isn't out of here soon I may be processing my first bird with my bare hands!

Be careful correcting spelling, or you'll have to start your own thread, too

I can send by end of next week, I'd say... might not be as many Marans as I'd like, but everyone else has stepped up their laying rather nicely... and I can always send another batch later if you'd like... :D
