I read what Eric had to say regarding the article as well. I think I'll have to decide once I see the eggs. 7 days seems too long to me too.
So what's this shipathon deal all about? Is it basically learning by practice which methods work best?

egg swap going on between the gang . got anything to trade ? they started talking about it last year . I don't know who is doing it. walnuthill and Ravynfallen have traded duck and turkey eggs already . just a way to help each other and get eggs cheaper .

No duck eggs, lol... Walnut sent me turkey eggs... I send her eggs out in a week... :D ;)
 
Well that power outage has done a number on a few of the marans eggs. The ameraucana all hatched day 20, I still have 3 marans eggs in the bator, 2 have pipped. Day 22 started at 4pm today. Never had such a prolonged hatch.
