No need to be a typing Nazi. We often type half asleep, distracted or on electronics with issues. I am a writer and excellent at English, but I also make lots of errors anytime I use my tablet because it often has lag issues.

Okie dokie, if it's a thing between ya'll I suppose it's ok. I've only been reading the last few days.

My plan is for all bantams at home also!  My LF will go to the farm eventually.  Original plan wasn't to keep any at my house, but now I can't move them all and not have any left at home!  So I decided on some bantam breeds for pleasure mostly, egg production secondly.  Oh and the occasional hatching...lol

That my plan too! I'm waiting till we move to start BCMs & ducks!!! Oh I can't wait to hatch little ducklings!....it's killing me, but I don't have the room so it wouldn't be fair to them. I treat my pets as good as humans..lol.

I told you, I'm a narcissist. I love talking about myself :gig
It just makes it funnier if I fuss at you a at the same time :thumbsup

That's funny that you opening admit you're a narcissist. I think by definition that makes you NOT a narcissist. I would know....I divorced one! :gig

Since I am no longer hatching anything because I have nothing to hatch. I will be a lurker of sorts and read everyone's posts. LoL!!!!

Im sure this question gets asked a million times but here goes: is it okay to open the incubator during lockdown to add more water? I don't have any pips and in order to get humidity perfect I added a little cap of water. I know from days 1-17, that it dries out in 1 day. Should I wait and see what happens? Open and top it off? I can see my air cells are starting to draw-down. (I can see air cells without opening the bator). So I know it's close!

If a cap provides the right surface area, try a pill bottle for lockdown that offers about the same diameter and has more capacity!
