Yeah, they are small! How are yours doing?
I put up a thermometer and it stays between 60-65. I will move them out in the next couple days depending on the storm. Is 45 degrees outside warm enough? Or with a broody it's always warm enough?


Unless it's below freezing, they should be fine with a broody... just check on them in the evening and make sure they're all tucked in... it's super cold out here today and I have an Ohiki outside with her babies... :)

I had to bring my water in this morning to unthaw it!!! I thought we were done with this crap. Yesterday morning we had snow! It's like 35F now.


No snow here, but I think we got your wind... :/
 
Well my SLP pipped this morning. Went to a swap in SC and sold 5 of my cockerels. Made 30 so 2 buddies me another 6 then bought 4 ducklings for 22. So...if you do the math right I only came home with 14 bucks. But not bad. Found the SLP pipped a larger hole. So now we wait!

That one was extra hairy, see the nails were almos fused, most were alomost like a ducks web vs this one.
