She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

WHAT A COINCIDENT, One of my girls stepped on an egg and SURE enough, I need to do something quickly. I tried to look for my Vaseline, OF COURSE, No one knows where the heck it is, So I tried looking for the Neosprine, NOPE NOT IN SITE Either.

So what I ended up doing is Putting a VITAMIN E oil on it. YES, that's right, I figured TWO THINGS, One it can't hurt it no chemicals, and TWO if she eats it IT"S OK. It's safe for her to eat. DOUBLE WHAMMY. Will see how this goes..
Just an update, the Vitamin E Worked like a charm, the only disadvantage, my baby chick was very oily. LOL, after a day though he's back to his normal Fluff. LOL

Marked as bottle of wine seems to work round here!

So I got my bator all set up last night and stuck FOUR thermometers in there. (No, I don't use four...lol) And low and behold. I have 4 thermometers all reading the same with in tenths of one another. A couple are exact together. Miracle on miracles. I had bought two new ones cause my old ones take these watch batteries and I figured at $6 each I might as well buy new ones and I have to say the old one is right with the news ones. Those must be pretty darn good batteries. Now I just need the eggs. 5 Hours south of me, she sends them and the post office sends them south to NJ. I was not expecting that.

And what types of thermos are these?

I thought this article might be interesting to those who buy shipped eggs. It says that marking packages as "fragile" does nothing, it may even make your package be handled worse but marking packages "glass" may make them be handled gentler. I think we need to try this!

When my Ayam Cemani eggs eggs came in Pyxis did not label the box at all and they came i perfect condition. Sally labels hers as fragile glass bottle of syrup. Still had some loose air cells but still showed up in good condition. I am all for doing what SideWing does and not label at all. Make sure there is also insurance on it.
