She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Just to put this out there in case others are having humidity issues like me (to high when dry) I found out that craft stores sell jars of silica. It's used to dry out flowers. I am going to pick some up today and I'll let you guys know how it works! Thanks for putting me on the right track.

the birds. They love you, though

I want it to stay that way.

Have you ever seen The Last Airbender series? Zuko and Mia are bad characters that fall in love and tell each other "I don't hate you. I don't hate you either". Reminds me of that thread.

The feathers on the shanks are cuckoo just like the body of the bird, but they are light. Light as in not a lot of feathers. In color they look like an extension of the body. The flesh is lighter than my BCMs and seem about the same color as the pics on the club website. http://www.maransofamericaclub.com/golden-cuckoo-marans.html But I can't find a Golden Cuckoo Marans Standard.

Her is another shot. I really want her body to fill out properly.

Awesome... I will be anxious to hear a report on that! I hope it works.

Can I just say how awesome I think you are without sounding weird? Lol

Thank you. I just need a little more clarification. Start with holding it in my right hand by the shanks... I assume breast pointing down, head pointing left? I think I can do that. And that's a wonderful suggestion about finding it on a mature bird first. I will also look into dislocated femur before doing anything else. She is totally avoiding using it, so maybe that's it.

Thanks sooooo much!

Sorry, been busy at work and just peeked back in. Yes, hold it like a lawn dart, legs are the handle. But don't swing and release!

My chicks are so funny! I introduced them to mealworms today. Well only one chick was brave enough to bite, literally. That chick ran up & down the brooder with the worm hanging out of his beak, over a dozen times! Back & forth. I don't know if he was excited or not sure what to do with it. But he made quite the parade up & down the brooder!
We call it chick football. Some call it keep away. Usually another chick will help them tear it to smaller bite sized pieces. Well, okay, try to steal it!
