Hehehe

Woo got a call from a friend at cackle told me they had some extra blue swede ducklings so walked over there and picked up four. They're so cute. Hopefully they turn out pretty and at least one is a drake and one is a hen :) If they raise up pretty have to either separate or get rid of my rouens. Like the swedes better but they all are cute and ducky :)
Number 2 hatcher is getting good and dried off, def looks more rouen than the mutt, can't wait to see how mutt feathers out :) Can feel 3rd bump around inside it's shell so it should be pipping in a day or so :)
Walking in this heat is exhausting, even if it was only a mile or so.

I have been enjoying watching your debate with the cull crowd

Don't get me going.... Not the first time I've gone head to head with a certain self righteous BYCer. I am pretty sure we hated each other the first time we found ourselves on the same thread. I know I did. I'll even take a mod slap just to say that outloud and get it off my chest.

Oh, Amy has gotten herself into a bit of a debate on another thread. It's quite amusing

I meant to ask you the other day, but I forgot. I'm totally serious, not making a joke. Why do you want to incubate in a Brinsea and hatch in a separate hatcher? Is it so you can set your next batch while the first is in lockdown?
Yes! That way I can stagger hatches. But only if the business takes off of sorts. I mean I have a gentleman who is buying all my chicks including the bantam roos. He said they are for his kids to raise on their farm. So hopefully it will work out and he does not eat them! But if he does then oh well nothing I can do about it after he pays.
