The one thing i learned from my first hatching attempt it that a way to find out what the temperature and Humidity inside the incubator are would be a really good idea. I had a 28 day hatch with 15 of 18 dead without pipping at full size.

Hi everyone

Hatch went well, 26 of the 27 that went into lockdown hatched. The last egg croaked it sometime after lockdown. I've also lost a chick

Number 26 that hatched was weak and was late compared to the rest of the chicks. Just would not eat and drink or do anything. Other half knocked it on the head for me in the end to put it out of its misery.

The remaining 25 are all doing well though and out in the brooding shed. They are enjoying the space so much and have started their mining through the shavings!!

Well the shipped bcms did not hatch. They were all Scrambled. Through them out this morning. At least the turkey eggs have signs of life, but have saddled air çells. 28 days will be Saturday. I need some luck.

Where did you get your eggs from? I ordered mine for Kingdon Hills Farms and they arrived perfect air cells intact and all grew but 2 due to infertile. So.....I would try them. Great colors on the eggs also.

I meant to ask you the other day, but I forgot. I'm totally serious, not making a joke. Why do you want to incubate in a Brinsea and hatch in a separate hatcher? Is it so you can set your next batch while the first is in lockdown?
