She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I want one so bad!! I think my hubby is going to get a couple for the boat once he actually gets his business up and running.

I would pay to see that.

I set SLP, SLP/EE, SLP/ BR, GL Cochins, Cochins, Silkie/EE, and a Maran Cross. So I started with 28, day 7 lost 10, 2 were infertile, and 8 were quitters.  I am pretty sure I lost another 4 including the one from last night but I it was still moving around in the egg so I hope it survives.
Okay.......I am sorry but Amy I feel as if you deserve this for asking that question.  :smack

Okay...you need to catch up with the times....so seeing you don't have a youtube account I will also being doing this...:smack

That is cool!!!! I want one!

I love large to extra large eggs. They are my favorite!

Here are my two slate footed EE babies:

gold lacing and black and gold barring. Hatched out of a RSL egg

Silver lacing on the neck with barring on the wings. Hatched from a green egg.

They both have the Ameraucana "eagle beak"

Here is the Wheaten (with incorrect feet) at 10 weeks:

Here are feather footed EEs:

10 week old pullet

nice little cockerel, he's 10 weeks old.

10 week old pullet

I am really happy with these backyard mixes so far, they are growing out rapidly and feathered out beautifully. The pullets look nearly ready to lay, and they still have 12-14 weeks before I expect any action from them.

It looks like 2 or maybe 3 cockerels out of the bunch of 15 or so. I'll get a better look when we move them into the pullet pen Thursday night.

A GoPro is a wearable, all weather camera that lets you record encounters like this:
Alrighty then. I got it now. Sure has potential.

Awesome job, sidewing!!! When are you planning on setting more eggs??
Amy, sorry about your eye. I was wondering where you have been! You're going to have to wear sunglasses outside from now on! Be careful, girl! I'm glad it's starting to get better.

My son dug out the safety glasses...lol

Angle the roof back. Cover with metal. Done!

Thanks! I'm surprised I don't have another set it yet. I want to add a fan first. I'm trying to show some constraint. I'm also worried about shipping eggs in with the AI outbreak otherwise I would have picked something up on the 24 hr auction thread.

Amy,
I'm so sorry about your eye. Twice!? I have to admit that I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair. But at the same time I was very sad for you. I'm worried about what kind of karma that bought me.

OMG that makes my eyes water just looking at it....but that's exactly how I felt-like ALL day yesterday! I know, I can't believe it happened again. They just really must like my eyes. Must be they have a thing for hazel eyes...lol

And why am I getting slapped for not knowing what it was?? I don't live an extreme life. I'm a boring single mom. I hold my own camera.

You probably laughed even harder....lmao

You're the second person today to tell me that. I'm a 42 year old man, and I'm as excited as a kid at Christmas. What can I say? I'm a little high strung

A little high???? That I believe.

I finally managed to band my 2 new 4 week-old BCM roos...and it turns out they have feathered feet...my main roo doesn't. I'd never seen feathered feet in person before, its quite cool. Yours look amazing!

They are horrible photos as the weather is heavy overcast. I'll try to get some better pics, but trying to isolate a handful of birds in a pen with 70 turkeys is just asking for a challenge.
