She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I still have two 2 strokes, a Kawi 100 my daughter rides and a Suzuki TS185 that we let friends ride in the woods. Both are mid '70s steel tank indestructables. Love those things. But I sold my beautiful Magna 750 and 2 more TS185s to put money down on the pair of CRFs and these things are fun. Not like my La-Z-Boy Magna on the road, but Michigan potholes don't even exist for these baby Hondas.
My wife has a KX 100 smoker. That's a fun little bike

I fondly remember my amazingly uncomfortable ride to Daytona Beach on my Yamaha RD250.
What are your CRFs? 230s or 250s?

We were just going to use them in the woods, these are too fun on the road to just leave them up at the property. :)

Packing and heading...gonna need the condensed version when I get home! See ya all soon!

Nothing compares to the Alaskan mountain range. We had two boys born there. I miss it. We were going to move back there but our parents are getting old and our kids are closest to them. (Even though my siblings all live within 2 hours of my parents and don't really visit unless they needs something.). As much as I wanted to move back, I knew it would break my parents hearts. So we moved to Ohio. But I still dream of Alaska.

I hear you. I miss the northwest US so badly. I haven't been there since I was 14 but I still feel like I am away from home. We are here so as not to break our parents hearts, too. One day I will be rich enough and move them all with us(Montana or Washington or Alaska).
By force if necessary.

Where did you live in Alaska? Was it extremely difficult having kids up there?
I finished my incubator diagnostics and have the parts on order. I'm skipping the plexi door for now, but I ordered the latest and greatest electronic thermostat to replace the old solid state and wafer combo. Both the timer motor and turner motor are bad, but the roller switch, timer switch, and turner switch all test good.

This incubator is sitting next to my homebuilt right now and I can't get over how tiny it is. And how loud the fan is. It moves a LOT of air.

I have a buyer for the LG 9200, now to find a buyer for the Leahy and I will be down to 400 turkey egg capacity.

Cool stuff.
Glad you found a buyer. That gives me hope!

Cute birds, @scflock 2nd pic down is adorable.

Ruby stated early on that peafowl needed to be assisted. I have no experience with peafowl, but I don't think my methods would work there. I don't assist, because I have ended up culling 90% of all assisted hatches. I would rather let them die in the shell. Amy would rather know that she gave them every chance she could. She and I used to always end up on the same threads giving conflicting advice, but it was never argumentative. We would both give our opinions, then tell the OP to do whatever they were comfortable with. That's how this thread was born :thumbsup

I think it's great that you both have your ways. I'll admit I'm learning a lot from you both. I did a lot of research before getting chickens. It's amazing how many people buy chicks and then go, ok now. We were in RK one day months ago and these very young (I'd say 18-20) kids decided they wanted chicks. When to they had to buy 6 they were all, ok. Then they were like "what all do we need for them?" I wanted to hand them my business card and tell them to call me when they were done playing with the chicks.
