She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Quick question, then I'll commence to reading again to catch up. Just came home and checked my incubator. I'm running totally DRY and humidity is 50% in the incubator. It is seriously muggy today. Put the AC on to try and dry out the house a little. Is it ok to be that high?? It never went that high last time. Anyway to lower it?

If it runs that for a day, It's probably not going to affect much. I've heard unpopped popcorn in a dish in the bator works best to lower humidity. I've heard uncooked rice as well. The ac might even it out as it's my understanding they do lower the interior humidity and a lower ambient humidity will help lower the bator's humidity. I wouldn't worry too much though unless the humidity stays up over a period of days.

I think you have a serious snookie fetish.....

I don't like the way my tiny bantam eggs fit in my turner. So I had this bright idea. Does anyone think it would be harmful, or hinder the egg development if I slip a little ring around the egg, so it doesn't bobble in the turner cup?
I'm not sure that this stuff pictured is thin enough, but I have some thinner at home. Its bubble packing wrap. It would only be maybe a half-inch high, and would only touch the egg around the fattest part. Just to hold it more still. What do you think?

No, but I've never been to NJ or NY, so I base all of my stereotypes on Jersey Shore. That and "Friends". How you doin'
OMG..You had me at "Friends"....lol One of the absolute best sitcoms EVER! And Jersey Shore?? Really??? Just a watching a preview sucks 5% out of a person's IQ.

I don't see why it would as long as it doesn't make the egg "sweat".

Yea, I'm thinking if I make it even 1/4" tall, that should just barely come in contact with the egg.

Ambient humidity in my house is about 60-65%.... bator ran through the night and stayed about 32%... Yay!!
