Thanks for the welcome. I just finished the "Breeding Delawares to the Standard of Perfection" and the "Delawares from Kathyinmo" threads. Went to look for something about incubators and found this one. Read a bit, thought it would be interesting, which it is, and found it incredibly humorous and have been lurking/reading here ever since. I use google chrome and have BYC pinned in a tab, so I believe it shows me online a lot when I'm actually not.

I read when I can, and haven't made it to the end of this thread yet ... just now getting to the part about the accents lol. BTW, got 50 BCM and Americauna going into lockdown on Sunday -- 20 in my nephew's LG and 30 in my DIY incubator. He's been having some bad hatches lately, but they were mostly eggs bought at a local farmer's market/auction. My DIY has been running with about 87% to 93% success.

Dang it, now I got to go through my history and find what post I was on!!

My first group of BCM should start laying soon, so I hope I'm incubating by the end of summer and culling over the winter. I'd love for you to keep us updated on your incubation practices and results

palate needs to stay up there, but your

palate can come on down and set a spell
