She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Ok, so I told Fred to man up....

Now apart from his new comb and 1/2 toes, he was used as an experiment with my dogs, who promptly ran him 2000 yrds into the bush, felled him beside a log, and stripped his feathers on either side of his tail feathers...so show quality, nope, not now, but when he arrived...he was Top Dog

Dogs!? Poor guy! Still looks like he owns the place.

Clearly not my Marans.... Duh.... But my Ameraucana... Pretty one though.
That is a gorgeous Ameraucana, wow! Thanks for stopping in. I will see if I can get some better pictures of Little Man tonight. Seriously, it has been a running joke for me on here about how brutal the other thread is, but if someone is serious about SOP, then that's the best thread on the site. I know my bird is an automatic DQ, that's why I volunteered to post him, so the regulars on the thread could see what you guys are looking for. People ask me, and I have learned a little, but I have nowhere near the eye or the experience as you guys. I thought it would be interesting for our guys to see how a real breeder looks at a bird. If anyone else from that thread shows up, be brutally honest with mine. I'm a big boy, I can take it :thumbsup

Am I wrong in saying that's a wannbe BCM?

My boy wants to be a Salmon Faverolle but he came from a green egg and has bare yellowish shanks and a rose comb. All in all, he's still a very handsome rooster.

The big boy thinks he's a Light Brahma, and looks like one. But he, too, came from a green egg. I don't like the line of his back as much as the other guy, but his daughters are really nice looking.

Another nice tight comb well suited for northern winters.
