Well Mutt egg has not progressed, is still moving around in there but still no hurry to hatch. So I missed nothing.
Hope you got some sleep. If its still moving, then its just not ready. Hang in there!

I have been using it for 2 years in the granular form., never had a problem. Why did you hate it? Zeolite is fairly inert from what I have read.
Thanks for the tip on the gypsum though, I will look for it and give it a try if I can find it.
While SweetPDZ bought me time in the infamous floods of 2003 that led up to the lawsuit to keep our birds, it did zero-zip-zilch for the compost, for the yards, and didn't do much other than slightly mask odor.
Pelletized gypsum is magic in a bag. If you have clay or hardpan soil, spread some on and water it in, come back in the morning with a shovel. Put it on your potatoes, too. It aerates the soil so that water drains more easily. Also good on dog spots to help combat the ammonia.
The birds pick it up and eat it, they don't gorge on it, they take what they need and then leave the rest just as they do with grit. It makes a big difference, and it's not harmful.
Menards, Home Depot, and most feed stores carry it in the lawn and garden section.

I like them a lot. I'm realizing how much I like the looks of AMs. I hope my barred EEs work out.
I'm on my cell and didn't see them. Hard to find on my phone. I'm nothing but a very very novice. Can you post the pic again?Coop looks great Amy. I wish I had a dirt floor because I would like to do deep litter inside. It's so dry here I have to water down the run to keep down the dust and help the stuff decompose. Since the coop has a wood floor - watering it down wouldn't work so I use a layer of PDZ & sand and scoop every so often. SC & SideWing & other BCM owners, how do you like my pullet?
HaHa! Ya right! I started at post 850 on that forum and learned a lot. And realized a lot of those folks are learning too.I will have to defer to side wing, I'm not qualifiedShe looks very nice to me, not too light in the hackles
How long has it been since first pip?So mutt egg has fully pipped can hear peeping but no further progress. Very active in the shell still so don't think it needs help yet.
