Sorry to hear that. I bought 14 Blue Laced Red Wyandottes and none of them hatched. Going into lockdown on 14 shipped barred EE eggs tonight.

So you did find a way to find the actual temp? I use a temp gun on the eggs themselves to calibrate my incubator and it works well.

I now have some thermometers and hydrogmeters - but i will see if i can borrow a temp gun too.

I looked in on her last night she was in the kennel with another turkey and a blue marans hen. The other turkey and hen are sitting on 18 more turkey eggs. I almost didn't see the chicken back in the corner. I'll try and get a pic tonight as this is where she likes to take the poults to sleep. This is the second clutch of turkey eggs the blue has tried to help hatch she is a little broody lol

I agree with useful livestock. I wish I could get my family to eat rabbit, it's cheap and grows quickly. At least they will eat the venison I hunt.

These rabbits are not really useful unless you need an endorphin rush from cuteness.

But They are Soo tasty- a good crumbed rabbit comes out tasting like a less oily version of KFC.
You can use rabbit meat in any chicken recipe

lol I just don't have it in me to kill cute and furry. I don't have an issue with feathered but cute and furry makes me feel bad to think of as food. I loved my bunnies, they were angoras and miss them terribly.

My husband is already concerned! Lol but I think if I get him to "help me" build one, he might be more sympathetic. He can build anything, so I almost have him talked into it. Its jusy finding the right contraption to use...

I plan on using a broken wine cooler!!! That way I can see everything. LoL!!!
