Now that was one beautiful turkey! Too bad he wasn't edible, but still...beautiful bird.

Yes, it was horrible. I couldn't believe it had still been walking around, after seeing its insides. Mostly just one breast, but still more than I cared to risk eating.

What did I miss??

I had to take an internet break...lol I was getting in a pretty heated argument with one of my friend's friends on her fb page and had to walk away so I went and visited a friend...lol

I hear ya~ sometimes ya just gotta walk away! What would we do without "friends" huh? LOL

For those having hatching withdrawals, turkey hatch is live on camera. While they are "due" Monday, I expect some action by Saturday night and a hatch on Sunday. Only two eggs in here, my halfbreeds, but I have half a dozen Narragansett and Golden Narragansett in the cabinet for a trial run of reverse airflow.

I sold some of my younger poults today and had a "glad there is no Kodak handy" moment. I handed two poults to the two ladies, and had two more in hand. One of them began to struggle, so I released the other onto the crook of my arm to resettle the restless one. The one I let go hopped to my shoulder, then to the top of my head, and proceeded to do what poultry does best...

So when we were all done with a good laugh and they left with their poults, I went inside for a shower and change of clothes.

He's a real piece of work. Not any friend of mine. It was all over a debate of the escaped convicts too. One of those "really?" moments...lol

Well it's sad that a conversation would lead to that, especially over something like those idiot criminals, but you never know what's going to set someone off. The continued texting would have been too much for me too. Some people just don't know how to let go.
