She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I jabbed myself in the eye accidentally the other day with the mascara brush. Does that count?

If I don't see a video, it didn't happen

Oh no! Please no bad karma. I have to admit I laughed a little too. I'm thinking "Twice?? really??" Oh goodness, I hope it doesn't happen to me this evening! Admitting it gets rid of bad karma juju, right?
I hope it takes it away.

Alrighty then. I got it now. Sure has potential.

My son dug out the safety glasses...lol

OMG that makes my eyes water just looking at it....but that's exactly how I felt-like ALL day yesterday! I know, I can't believe it happened again. They just really must like my eyes. Must be they have a thing for hazel eyes...lol

And why am I getting slapped for not knowing what it was?? I don't live an extreme life. I'm a boring single mom. I hold my own camera.

You probably laughed even harder....lmao

A little high???? That I believe.
There is NOTHING boring about being a single mom. That's a crazy hard job.

I finally managed to band my 2 new 4 week-old BCM roos...and it turns out they have feathered feet...my main roo doesn't. I'd never seen feathered feet in person before, its quite cool. Yours look amazing!
I really like feathered feet. I have a blue Marans roo that I need to get rid of but he has awesome leg feathers and loves the kids.

Thank you (and thanks everyone else, as well!) You would not believe how long it took me to dig around in the Ordinances section to find a place name that would be immediately recognizable to an international audience as urban, that wasn't LA (because everyone knows they're crazy down there anyway LOL) that had low enough restrictions to make that scenario possible. Especially since my first gut instinct had been "somewhere in NYC" to begin with *rolls eyes*

Ack! I thought I'd pressed "Quote"! Well, this was in response to @gachooks

Someone asked about the drink cups and I forgot to reply when I was catching up. Sorry about that.

They just call them drink cups at cuttler supply. They are cheap and I drill a hole just smaller than the threads and twist it into a 5 gallon water jug. Or gallon jug, or bucket, or whatever. Some folks hook them up on a pipe too. They move the lever with their beak and water fills the cup. Easy to clean and you don't need a vacuum seal for it. You could put it on a 55 gallon drum if you wanted (maybe too much pressure? not sure). They work well for me. I also got a toe punch from cutler to mark my chicks.

I don't think chickens quite get enough from the nipple waterers, but that's just my opinion. And besides that they drip often.

Duh, how long have you been here?
