Personally I chose to roof my coop with shingles. If I need additional coverage on the run I'll add a panel to it. I almost did the pvc roofing for the coop but after buying all the spacers, washers and additional pieces, the shingles were cheaper.


Nah. You totally need a movie made out of it. Ahnold did, so I'm pretty sure anyone could get away with it.

It needs something more... I think. Need more cowbell!!.....

I am trying the toddler sock method on Sue. We had a yard sale today to de-clutter and that jerkface crowed all day. At nothing. At the light. At the thought he may need to fart. I don't know.

I love the need more cow bell!!!!! LoL!!!!!! I tried the toddler sock method first did not work so I bought 2" velcro did not work, then I bought the actual crow collar and it worked just fine!!!

Ugh! I don't regularly check my temp on my incubator because normally, it always holds steady. But I checked tonight and I was at 98.5!! I don't even know how long it's been there. I took an egg out yesterday, so maybe that did it. So I adjusted but now it's going too high. I wish I noticed earlier instead of having to watch it when I want to crawl in bed!

I check mine 3 times a day and write down the time, temp, and humidity percentage.

Nothing happening yet. No external pip and I have not heard anymore cheeping. Temp is hold steady at around 102.2 and humidity is at 67%. I no longer see or notice any movers or shakers. So.....I think it could be any day that I will have some hatchers. I have 4 bantam cochin eggs in there that were all doing great! They may be my first to hatch or...it may be the Buff Brahma that was dancing around 2 days ago. Lol!!! We shall see. So for now...its hands off. Until the first pip.......after that I will just watch and if one looks stressed or needs help then I will assist.

Here in aus we used to have guy forked day, that was celebrated with large fires and lots of fireworks . They banned both the fireworks and the holiday itself sometime in the 80s. I used to really enjoy setting off fireworks.

Well that just sucks....why did they ban it? It sounds like fun! Lol!!! I can only imagine tons of guys getting drunk and shooting off fireworks....well now I can see why they would ban it!!! LoL!!!!

I have no idea where those are, but we will be taking the ferry across the St. Clair River, heading up along the Lake Huron coastline to Bruce Peninsula, and staying at either Sauble Falls or Bruce Peninsula, then going on a waterfall hunt in the countryside around Owen Sound before turning homeward.

I'll check a map but I have a feeling you're a couple of hours east.

Yeah as stupid as it sounds, advice on cars from a woman caused issues for some men.  Didn't make any difference to me except the hate mail that ensued.  I got tired of it.  My website with all my docs is still online but I don't participate in the forum any more.

Very sad. The stupidity! I was once on a motorcycle forum, and there were some guys that always wanted another opinion from a guy, but most were ok with me being a female.
