She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Good thinking! Thanks for explaining. I hope I never need it, but nice to know I can try something for free!

I wish I could take the credit, but I can't. I found it while researching the no crow collar on BYC. I went looking for the thread earlier but didn't find it at first glance. The only thing I do recall from the original post was to make sure the threads aren't exposed or the rooster or other birds can keep grabbing and pulling it apart.

That would have drove me crazy, if it kept jamming! It was already aggravating every time I'd run out of staples. They should make a compartment that holds extras and just keeps feeding them in! I was wondering about painting the run too. It must be hard with all the hardware cloth. Post a pic of your run!

I wanted to know too!

I have tons of those to toddler socks. I will try that when mine gets older and figures out how to really crow. He is 7 wks and today was the second day he tried crowing at 7 am. Sounds like an animal is dying!

I did take a few pictures this weekend since I have a new SD card in the camera. They were quite exposed so I may need to try again. The stapler I was using I think I had for many years. I knew it wasn't going to be the best but I would expect if I bought the correct staples that it shouldn't jam. Apparently that's asking to much.

It's first life was stretching canvas for my paintings.

Good point. I'll probably make something myself. I sew, so I have plenty of stretchy fabrics that would work.

I can't even imagine how messy ducks would be getting shipped. They are so filthy to keep in a brooder. I plan on getting out of the Rouens and focus on Swedes. They are the more endangered of the two. Will be selling my adults as soon as I know I have at least one Swede drake out of 4 ducklings :)
