BYC: Had to. They stunk to high heaven, and if they weren't already dead or infertile, the bacteria from the rotten egg would've killed them. When I tossed them out, one of the eggs broke. It was infertile. I guess my EE is too old for fertility now. :hit I guess that means I "need" some more EEs. ;)

WV: thanks. It's ok, I technically don't have room for them if they did hatch anyway.
