She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I have a rooster named WV duckchick. We call him for Fabio for short.
What are you jealous about? Apparently all I have helped are drill sales
Everyone should have a good drill handy. Do you have any recommendations??? lol

I'm partial to the color purple, BTW, so something in purple would be preferable...

I seperrate all the males to single pens soon as they are about half grown. I clean the Barrell on a three month interval. I have a large woodworking Vacuum so I blow the shaving out. These food grade Barrel are the best and cheapest way to house the birds. Always fresh air and they thrive in them in Winter and summer.

Thanks for expanding. That's a great idea! Great info!

Thanks, I read it.  A few differences - they weren't using shipped eggs and working with a specific problem of possible air cell damage and they were laid on the sides. There was too much variation in results between the 4 experiments.  As presented the time frames are too narrow (why 4 to 7 days and not 4 to 8) unless this was based on other research.  They have a theory started, and need to redo the experiment another 100 times before they can conclusively state anything.  And why did they ignore the first 3 days?  I might have missed something.  To be on the safe side, in the future I will start the turner on Day 4.  Who's right? Who's wrong? No one.

Someone else on this thread noticed the same thing about days 1-3. I agree, that it's good info for non-shipped eggs. But with shipping and air cell damage, I think it's more important to stabilize the air cell first and build up strength in the chalazae & embryo. The best luck with shipped eggs I had was waiting a full 5 days. Just my experience.
What really hurts is the fact that ross had to say it :gig

I know! :lau
No doubt about it this week :lau

You would be amazed at the things that come through here. Makes you want to recycle. This is one of over 300 owned by the company, and we take 3000 tons/day

Dump is a dirty word to us. Dumps were before Federal regulations changed in 89. You would not believe the way these things are engineered to have 0 environmental impact

Yes sir! I will let everyone know how many made it to lockdown in the morning

Have you seen the movie wall-e? I believe that movie hit the nail on the head!
