She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Trying to... OH thinks it's a fox... I think it's a weasel...
Our local bunnies are chased away by the ducks, lol...

This thing is pulling the birds though small squares in the cage... no hope of recovery...

Hope yours get found... maybe they flew high up in a tree...

There seem to be alot of people experiencing predator problems lately. My gsd has a habit of peeing outside the coops. Probably is a helpful prevention.

I thought they'd come home as it got dark, the other birds made enough chatter that they should have been able to find their way.  Wherever they are, I hope they found shelter even if they can't find their way home.  They're probably tapping on someone's doorwall...or sitting on a patio table at a neighbor's house.

Once it was getting dark, they'd stop where they were... they can't see well in dark so hopefully they just hunkered down for the night...

do you know what it is have you set a trap

Have had traps set, trying different baits... nothing... and not sure what it is... :/

Not possum, shot 3 of those already last fall and spring... this is something else...

I've never seen a weasel in middle tn. nor found the tracks of one my money is on a coon try vanilla wafers in your trap It would have to be a small fox to get in the cage could be though . critter cam! with the rain we got yesterday you should be able to track it circle you coop checking every bare spot you can find somewhere there will be a game trail .leading to your pens.if it's a fox it will hit early in the morning just before daylight coon just before midnight possum all night long . house cat all night long are your pens covered if not Owl or hawk. while a fox or coyote will roam an open field they will go through a thicket on a game trail. that is where you set a critter cam

It's a coon... just found tracks... **** thing fell in the rat trap bucket eating the peanut butter and left prints from the oil...

It never hit at the same times... sometimes at night, sometimes late morning after it was light out... don't have cams... and knew it wasn't a feathered prey animal as it pulls the birds out through an enclosed cage...

I have a raccoon hanging around here lately. Usually by the garbage can at the pool area.
Has anyone raised pheasants?

@RavynFallen , when you said it was ripping off their heads, my bets were on raccoons. They have done that to my flock before. They are merciless and just leave the chickens laying there headless. Feathers everywhere. They will be back for more, and more, and more. They will bring the whole family. Once they have found a good chicken dinner, it's always dinner at your house until you get rid of them. Darn raccoons.
