It's worth it though. It has it's moments lol but we both get so much more out of it. If you use a ready made curriculum, it's less work, but I do our curriculum from scratch. I actually like the challenge in putting everything together, deciding what we're covering and when and finding the resources to do it. When he gets older and up there grade wise, most likely we'll be using more of the published curriculum, especially math, but for now, this is what is working for us.
