Thanks guys, but his comb is a DQ. It's too big, too meaty, and has too many points. He also has a halo, though not as bad as the others that came with him. Anyone that knows how to critique the faults, feel free, you won't hurt my feelings. Snowbird, if you happen to see this, I would love to hear you note every fault. I need to know what to breed out

Heres a breeders chart i found

That is a general "selecting a breeder" chart for picking good breeding stock outside of breed specific SOP. I'd add color and condition of comb and earlobes to this, as well as the look in the eye, straightness of beak and toes, and many other more intangibles.

I am very glad we sell off birds on a regular basis, it helps to keep me from keeping bad stock. It's time to sell my black and white "flamingo" bird. If it's a male, he's growing as slowly as a Jersey Giant or old fashioned Brahma. If it's a female, she is a tucked up bird on stilts. Either way it loses...gorgeous color and feathered feet notwithstanding.
