I'm flat out crazy, lol... :D

Sleep well... :)

I had to do a little research. It's a gray tree frog. I didn't even know that we had tree frogs in NY!

Now that's nuts!
Read this entire page. This has helped save a ton a chicks the were stuck, or zipped the wrong way, or were malpositioned. https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/step-by-step-guide-to-assisted-hatching
x2 It's worth a few nice, slow reads.

Looks like we'll be getting a leg hold trap, asap. Bait was gone again and the trap wasn't tripped, turned or anything.

I checked for paw prints and turned the earth, etc. Poisoning seems too cruel for anything outside of a politician, so snap trap it is.

you find any tracks yet read up on trapping although this one seems to be bold whatever it is .there are ways to set an rules to follow for a successful trap. all my runs are covered but there was a possum eating the cats food on the porch last night . so now I worry about the chicks in growers haven't poured concrete floors yet so my doors are high enough for varmints to get under. have you tried a critter cam yet .might poison the wrong thing. you have a chicken killer and It won't stop do whatever it takes to kill it.

I can't remember if I posted these or not, but speaking of frogs...
This little guy was stuck to the glass door at camp. I had never seen this happen before, so of course I had to take pics.

I was also changing the chlorine tab in my water storage tank this past weekend, reached in to grab the floaty thing, and there was a little frog sitting on top of it! Startled the crap outta me! I guess we had left the lid off just long enough for one to get in there, and then he couldn't get out. He was white! Didn't have my phone on me, so I didn't get a pic of him.

Trail camera would be a good idea, if you have one. What's the bait? Could it be mice or snakes or something, since you can't find tracks? Good luck!
