It's a solid investment. I'd jump all over one for $250. You'll make your money back in chicks in one or 2 hatchesIm going to try and reply to everyone, im still not doing so great, i have a med condition and about one wk out of each month, i feel like garbage. I was even motion sick from reading too much while im down :-/ good news is: im fine! Ive battled this for years, had two surgeries and i swear ill be here to read more tommorow
WV that thing deff needs cleaning, like unscrewing cleaning, it looks like tiny bits of insulation inside it :-/ im glad i Dont have eggs on hand and i have time to clean it properly!
It is Really hard to spend $250 at once on anything, besides a bill, for me...
I have feelers out on eggs, i have to find some type of Deal because im not allowed to spend No More on chickens for at least a wk
Friday! Thanks so much your so kind! I was only playing, it would be awesome to get eggs from yall because i know there are people here with some amazing work
BYC gimme 300? No! not even kinda! The point of spending half of my paycheck on an incubator is that, i dont have to do this again for a Long Long time... Yes i am over 300 now, feed since i last wrote u and more fence...at the same time, do u see how this amazing score (rayvenfits my buisness Perfectly?!
im still rollin with the punchs
Theres No way i could spend that kind of money on those kennels, but i have DH... And he treats me pretty well for No Reason
YOU should get a 4 wheeler with all that money u want to blow, and then it would be Fun keeping ducks in the far back pond
Ruby: it kills me everytime i see it, its just So Big hahaha! I mean, for real, 28" across, my first hatch is likely to be around Oct 1st so settle in![]()

I am going to shut down the GQF incubator tonight and move my turkeys to the Polyhatch. 25-45 watts vs 250 is one reason...but also just to see how it does.
It's very simple, yet very clever. The egg turner base is a perforated aluminum plate that rolls back and forth, driven by a cam. The eggs would just move back and forth as well, except they use divider rods to hold the eggs back. So the eggs roll against the rods, and rotate 90 degrees every 30 minutes. The tray moves very slowly.
And the tray is reversible...it has one set of motor guides for large eggs, and another for small eggs, to ensure that 90 degrees is always attained.
Double insulated top window is nice as well. And it has a tiny LED inside so that it's not pitch black.
The water trays are readily filled by lifting the aluminum plates that cover the gaps at the end of the tray. The base has a built in water guide on each end to direct water into the channels.
