She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

:hugs a lot of peoole blame it on being hereditary. But there are so any other factors people aren't considering. Food, meds, cosmetics, cleaning supplies, and vaccines are all so pumped full of junk nowadays. All the chemicals in cosmetics and cleaning supplies could easily be the cause of your migraines :idunno

This has been going on since my teen years... never use cosmetics of any kinds, avoid caustic cleaners, most perfumes and such too...
Not perfect diet, but I watch out for too sweet, too salty or too anything, lol...
It is what it is, I deal...

Pigeon is feathering out so prettily! She's gaining on her mama

Adorable little Pigeon and her momma!!! :love

ok, here's a totally out of character post, but I'm dead serious. You don't need a medical doctor, my guess is you need a psychiatrist. You don't get our sense of humor by growing up in Little House on the Prarie. You're holding on to some stuff that you don't want to deal with, and it's manifesting itself in physical pain.
That's all I have to say about that, and if anyone quotes me I will deny I ever said it :smack

Said what??? :idunno

Love it!! They are so great together! What's the plan for pigeon when she gets bigger?

I've been following the development of my project poults for three months now. One of them has a color pattern that I've never seen before. The father is a Golden Narragansett and the mother a Bronze, so all the babies should have been Narragansett or Golden Narragansett or Bronze or Red Bronze. But this one was different.

As it's getting its adult coloration, it appears it is a sport, a natural mutation to Oregon Gray. That's a variety thought extinct but Kevin Porter "recreated" it based on what he thought the genetics should be. The genetics of mine is different than his as mine has no gray gene bred in. I love the color and would really like to have a flock of these. I can't wait until she has all her adult feathers.

Very cool! Post more pics as she grows.

Very pretty!

Just did a quick candle on top of all 32 eggs in my bator, and I have excellent development in at least 26!! Possible 6 clears, but too early to be sure. Bad news is 3 of those possible clears are out of the 4 silver sebrights. One is definitely developing. She actually wasn't sure on their fertility anyway, so I knew it was possible. All 6 japs looks great!

So sorry... could it be sciatica?
Know how you feel about all that, I get migraines... went through tons of tests and they couldn't find a cause... best guess is mine are hereditary...

I used to get horrible, debilitating migraines that seemed to get worse with every passing year. Sometimes I would lay in bed just wanting to die and in too much pain to hate the universe. I thought it was hereditary, too. I cut msg completely out of my diet. I don't get them anymore. I know there is a lot of debate on this subject and I don't have any empirical evidence, just my own experience, but that's definitely what causes them for me. Every time I slip up and eat something new without thinking about it, and that new thing has msg in some form, I get a migraine and heart palpitations. Last time it was organic mac n cheese with organic maltodextrin. Anyhow, I know that isn't the case for everyone, but it's worth a shot. It hides in a lot of places, under a lot of names, but if you can cut it out for a few weeks and just see what happens, you may not regret it. I'll never touch the stuff again if I can help it. Not sure why I am so sensitive to it, but I am.

@WalnutHill Thanks.

I just hope it's not ankylosing spondylitis with fibromyalgia like I have. The best they can do is keep the pain at a tolerable level, but took 5 years of testing to try and work it out.

Hugs all around! *Looks up AS* After reading about that, I'm so glad to hear they have your pain under control! I've been considering neurological issues as well. Unfortunately I am currently uninsured and all that testing seem so far out of reach.

That's too cute!

I have a sick duck, so if someone would check out the thread Mentally Off Duck??? That would be great. Sorry I can't post the link here, the app won't do that.

I rearranged some vowels there. ..
*says nothing*
Normally I would agree with what you didn't say, but there are other symptoms present that I won't get into, which would argue with you. That could definitely still be part of it. People really suck sometimes.
