I hate the post office!!! At 11:30 I tracked my package, I figured I'd give it time to get there, and it told me it had arrived at my local PO at 5:30 this morning, figures. That's not the problem, the problem is my local PO closed at... you guessed it, 11:30 I left a note on my mailbox door and asked the post man to leave the package by the box but I have a feeling he won't. Everyone cross your fingers he leaves it. I had no idea they closed that early, my DOH told me they closed at 1 today.

I always leave a letter for the mail person 2 days before I expect delivery I put my phone number and where I expect the package to be coming from. Hopefully your post person will get the message.

Was trying the new 20 out back. I heard the chickens pitching a fit. I flew back to the house and there was a hay bale right outside the pens. It disappeared before I could get off the Gator. Now for the stakeout...

I have never seen that before... does not look like wry neck at all, at least to me... wry neck would be like a constant kink in neck or head would tip back uncontrollably til it couldn't go back any more...
That looks neurological or inner ear issues, maybe?
Gonna have someone look at the vid when the can and see if they might know...

Also asked a friend to look and will see what she says too...

The nutri drench has vitamins e and selenium in it. I will give her that 3 times a day and make sure she eats and drinks. Thanks for help.

One of my new little ameraucana has a problem. I am suspecting wry neck. She looks like she has a tick, she walks around in circles and twitches her head. They have vitamins in the water and I just gave her a few drops of nutri drench. Do I need to do any thing else?

I'm so sorry. I don't have experience with that yet (except in rabbits). But I have a little hatch first aid kit with sav-a-chic, nutri-Drench, and some probiotics. Good luck.

I officially hate the postal system. Will you be around to get the package? Was it supposed to be held for pickup? This new breeder I am dealing with put my name on the package and then "C/O" and then my local post office's address. So they really have no choice but to hold for pickup. I didn't even know she did that till I got the package.

My friend said yes, that's neurological. It could develop into full blown wry neck, but it isn't there yet. Think you're doing just fine and caught it early so hopefully she'll make a full recovery.
She said the cases she's seen like that were caused by another chick pecking it on the back of its head, so just keep an eye out for picking and isolate if needed.
