I did check the humidity with an indoor outdoor thing I gave here, the sensor doesn't work but I just stuck the while thing in there, lol. The humidity is now reading 66% and I have my temp set,right around 101° right around where the top of the eggs would be.

Your bator is the older model LG, right? Just ask and listen to what @AmyLynn2374 recommends, she is the LG Queen! :)

Yea!

So everyone was right about this incubator, i totally love it! The spot check i use is the reptilian zoo med digi. it tells me that the Brinsea is accurate. It is recycled from a terrarium, the probe is very handy and it has been calibrated with ice water. It has lasted for years with reptile use...
