Just run it. If it breaks, Ravyn will feel bad and send you one
another 40 minutes for me. First game of the season tonight![]()
All of my nns have pink skin even the silkie mix one. The silkie/nn has the 5 toes but not the silkie skin coloring. They all have annoying bowties too. I thought for sure I'd get some clean neck nns from my pullet hatch as I thought 2 nns produced half clean necks, but either I misunderstood or my roo isn't as dominant as I thought. All 4 of my nn hen's eggs that I incubated were nn chicks- with bow ties and the only other nn from the 20 eggs was the silkie nn.
Good to know! Thanks!Nope, I don't own anything by Brinsea, lol... only have eggs...![]()
So light colored skin then... and mix is light colored... if it works going opposite, your mix might be a pullet... will need to look up some more...
Silkie mixes of Silkie roo over yellow/white skinned hens creates sex-links...![]()
Funny thing is I kinda wanted the mix to be a roo...lol Then I could breed it back to momma. If it's a girl I have to borrow my sister's roo.Nope, I don't own anything by Brinsea, lol... only have eggs...![]()

Shipping update tells me that my Spot Check arrived today!Good thing too. I really don't know what temp my newly set eggs are at right now.
I have been checking on them with my temp gun so they should be ok.I'm not positive on the mix being switched... but when Silkie is the roo, pullets have black skin and cockerels have light skin...
That's scary!![]()
But, yay!![]()
I have to go look at my chickens now, cause there were 3 other silkie mixes in that hatch...lolI'm not positive on the mix being switched... but when Silkie is the roo, pullets have black skin and cockerels have light skin...
