It was too wet to do much investigation but it has to be coming through underneath the nest boxes as there are no holes a fly could get through in the walls or roof, and no holes elsewhere in the floor. If the weather is ok I will detach the Roost to see if there are signs of entry under the nest boxes. I would be betting on a snake or rodent, although it should still be too cold for the snakes to be active.
No signs of feathers or dead chick, and none of the slightly older ones look hurt or upset, though all but 2 are now roosting at night.
I'm only loosing the 1 weeks olds
