Ok, I'll give you some more research to do then... look up the 24hr auction chat thread, read the entire thing... a lot of people put comments on there about sellers rather than giving the person a review on their profile... there are good and bad on bith BYC and ebay... some BYCers sell on ebay also... look at pics and read everything they say... if it includes faults and sounds honest those are good indicators... if it sounds too good to be true, then that's generally the case...
Ok, awesome. Now that I'm home from work I can look it up and get to reading! Thanks!

Aaaannnnddd.... Not going to make it very into that thread. Can't keep my eyes open another second. Will be spending time tomorrow catching up here and in that thread. Thanks for the Heads Up @RavynFallen

I use a little of this in all my waterers, a tip I learned from Oz, and it keeps all algae and slime growth to nothing... didn't scrub waterers all summer long... I also put a little in the duck pools and it keeps them from going stagnant or algae so you can go longer between changes if need be...

Where do you get this stuff?
My duck pool is pretty large, so I don't change the water very often. I drained it last night, barely finished before it got dark on me, and soaked myself when the hose decided to do a snake dance on me! But the walls are a bit grimy, so I could use some of this stuff for next time.

You'll have to scrub it out first, since it only prevents not removes... but it is absolutely awesome... since we only have a couple small kiddie pools, we have to rinse them out at least once a week or more, without this 2 days and water is foul and algae is everywhere...

Don't use the mix instructions on it, mix it with 2 gals water for stock then depending on size of pool a few ounces or so in tue fresh water...

ETA: shipping cost the same for 1 or 4, otherwise I found it at our co-op for 8 or 9 bucks...

I have cayuga and i absolutly love them :) hubby's blue swed is just as loud if not louder than any of our cay hens. My Uncle has pekin and i dont think my ducks are louder than them. Granted this is all taken as: theyre loud if theyre disturbed, and u cant miss feedup by a Minute or theyre screaming for u to Get Out Here This Minute :D

I dont know what I want. I guess ducks that are flighty is something I dont want, come home to birds on the roof or up in the trees. And honestly I think our chickens are way more vocal than the ducks.

Thanks! I realize I'll need to scrub it. I was just worried about chemicals, since they drink it too. I didn't scrub it last night because I started late, but I'll order some of this for next time. My pool is 5'x5' square and 14" deep, so it holds 250-300 gallons of water. I clean it maybe once a month. I'll have to figure out how much of that stuff to use.
