I called. Says his message folder was full. He won't come.
Then I get a text from someone else. They will come supposedly in a few hrs. Said they would text before coming. Ok. We don't normally text. But oh well, I can once in a while. I think the babies should be ok in the kennel for a while. It's pretty cool out there this morning. I was tempted to turn our heat on!

Just caught up, but gotta go take the doggies out :/ Day 21 for me, well, will be in an hour and 20 minutes, nothing yet, took a quick peek earlier, still alive and active but no drawdown yet but some look like they may be starting to. But I do have... rockage? Lol

Woke up to this little fella this morning:

It's early day 20, the earliest hatch I have ever had. It's from a lighter pullet egg, which is expected, but two of the massive Davis eggs are pipped, so who knows? This batch is baffling me

Saturdays are time to get crap done that I can't get done through the week. Came inside long enough to put a roast in the oven for dinner. Gotta work on the new coop and deer scouting. Season opens next week and we are soooo not ready! (chickens have overtaken my life!)
