Omg, I see his beak, he's starting to pip a little moree This is amazing!! I'm easily amused, can you tell? Lol
I moved the bator right beside my bed so now I'm just sitting here staring in it, lol. Then I'll look away long enough to give y'all an update, I'll probably fall asleep with my face pressed against the bator window later, lol.
Big Bass will take a duckling or gosling, too, if the opportunity presents itself, but in the 60 or so years I've spent fishing, I think I've only seen it happen once, and that was a Canada Goose. Not to infer that it doesn't happen more than I've witnessed, but I don't think the percentages are all that bad. My suspicion is that land-based predators like fox & coon account for more depredation than big fish & turtles ever do.....JMO, based on my own experiences.
My neighbor has a little farm next door and a 4 foot wide stream runs through his property. But he has no fish, he wants them but it's got a little current to it, so where he is, no fish. So we saw that big snapper eat a duckling over the summer and guess what ate a chick yesterday??? A blue herring!! Poor little chick. My neighbor didn't even care that it got the chick because it thought it was just awesome to get to see it happen!!![]()

She's just like the peas!! It's just fascinating because I never associated the two animals with being so similar! They would sit on my shoulders, my head, fall asleep right on me. They really think you are their mother! She's precious.
Black roo works, key is a non-barred roo... I used my Wheaten Sulmtaler roo... chicks hatched out females very chipmunky/wild type and boys had lots of yellow down w/little striping... I wanted a Copper Blue Marans roo to put over them, but haven't got one yet, lol...Solid Roo? (What do you mean?? Like black roo) over my CCL hens?? I want to do that experiment!!! Test it and see what we get!!! That's funny only one worked!!! Except when I quoted you....they all worked!!!![]()
Adorable!!My office assistant, Baby. She is growing in Narragansett feathers. She's a pretty little girl, and the only turkey who has ever been in my house this long. She's getting too big to let her sit on my head, but she's perching while I work late tonight.
I told her she was too big to sit on my head, but old habits die hard.
