She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Hey Ross, saw some flooding on the news down in your area. Hope you guys aren't having any problems!

Yeah Hubby was supposed to go work out on Tybee island today but the whole road was flooded and it o ly supposed to get worse next week. The tide was super high yesterday but never flooded our causeway. I sure hope it does not.....then I have to figure out what to do with my birds! !! I am being g to feel like SC did when they started to flood.

Cant believe I might of finally found a home for my pair of drake khaki's! The difficult part is figuring out logistics as they are only available early evening during the week and its going to be a 3 1/2 - 4 hour drive :(

Hope it doesn't get that bad! And the poor birds just hate it and look so pitiful when it rains all day....

You are going to drive the drakes to them? Could they meet you half way?

I have been looking for a new home for them for over a month. And if I drive all the way I can get two hens in exchange. So not a complete waste. Just not looking forward to the return trip.

Sounds like a good trade. Hope you work it out!

I moved my last batch of BCM pullets to the big coop on Sunday, and it has been cold and rainy for 2 days. They have a roof, but the ground is wet from runoff. I checked them this morning, and all are still fine

I hope so. I need a carrier for transport. Then thinking about taking the girls out of school early on Friday.

I'm sure the girls won't argue with that, huh?

If you can't find a carrier, check some of the local stores for a big box. I know that's not ideal for a long trip, but if you find a good heavy one, it should work. Do you still have Howard?

We've mostly just had non-stop drizzle, but enough to get everything sopping wet. I have to laugh at the silkies... everyone else seems to weather it fine, but those poor dummies...

I noticed my babies tend to just stay in the coop, so they are already smarter!

I swear, I think my silkies enjoy the mud. They have, by far, the driest pen with the most roof, and they still wind up out in the rain.
My wife bought me one of those hats with LED lights in the bill yesterday. That thing is just the ticket for minding the pens in the dark before and after work
