This is the guy who thought I was crazy for wanting to raise and hatch chickens. He's fallen head over heels in love with them and keeps looking for more breeds to add to our "collection".
I don't know what emoticon to use... So I'll use multiple to show how i feel!
for getting him on board with the chicken thing,
because he thought I was crazy for wanting chickens and now look at him,
just watching him with the baby chicks (he nursed one sick one back to health and put forth a bunch of effort to see him thru when I had pretty much given up!),
for wanting just as many breeds as I did/do... but not the same ones I want!! He's got a list beyond silkies... But silkies first according to him. He's really jumped into chicken parenthood with both feet. Helping me with the brooder, the coop, and he's sketching up plans for a larger, nicer coop too.

That'll be fine... we did a 6 hr trip with the Calls and Ohiki... they'll do better than you think... you don't actually want a huge carrier, this way they'll sit down close to each other and ride it out safer... bigger carrier encourages standing up and falling down a lot...
Lost striper... she just spammed all the currently active threads... if possible, next time flag on a different thread as spam... don't think any of us want them looking too close at the thread...
