That's a good idea! I put my first ad up and nothing yet. I'm trying to sell a boy. Kinda just wanted to see if anyone would contact me. I'm thinking of changing it to cockerels and pullets and see what happens.

Probably illegal to sell one of your boys. Better stick with selling extra cockerels.

How you guys been? Sorry I dropped off the face of the earth, my kids have been driving me crazy with Halloween stuff and carving pumpkins. Been busy trying to get all my birds situated. Got the Welsummers in their new run, just got get the Silkies situated now.

I set my local CL to alert me of any new "chicken" listings...on the lookout for pullets from the better "broodiness" breeds

Anyway, I got an email from CL this morning. Opened it & found a post for a used car for sale.

I just have to share something that I am so happy about. I have extremely easily integrated my chicks into my flock! They had a separate area in the run that was blocked off. Then I made a portal for them to get in and out. Last night they slept with no heat in the coop with the big chickens! Today they are one big happy family!
