Just keep breeding your largest hen to your largest roo. Continue to weigh eggs, hens and roos, all offspring. Keep notes on each bird, band them if you have to. I did this with my Bobs. I had huge birds when I was done. I also bred for tameness as well since Bobs are horriblely high strung. My Bobs got so tame, some of them got on my lap!

I am getting over 12G eggs from my original birds

I cant wait to see where I go from there

Cool...you hatch quail? I used to hatch tons of Bobwhites. Had 3 huge aviaries full of Bobs. I have a couple of geriatric 7 year old males left now, that is it. LOL

My son wants to hatch Bobwhites.

big old ugly creature from the southern costal swamps . can be your best friend or your worst night mare . depending which side of it you end up on . and please don't take me seriously . Our Ravyn is a true jewel and one of my closest friends . the world could use many more like her .
