tinted! Ah!! I'm guessing the pic you mean is just her green zip tie leg band

That pic and even the one under from a distance looks quite green on my screen. Could just be my screen too. The one above it didn't look so greenish.

For whoever had the silkie hatching chicks in the laundry, I'd try putting her and the chicks out on Friday or Saturday, and see if the others pick on her , or if she's still defensive enough to be ok. If there is no problems in the first hour or so they will be fine. If they are not accepting then the best time would be once the chicks get their wing feathers and start flying practice. I find this is usually about 7-9 days old for most of mine. That is the age I add my incubator hatches to the flock.

Beautiful birds WV! We had a golden seabright hen once, she was very hard to catch.. lol
Ruby! That's awesome, it's so cool watching a hen with her chicks. I let 2 hens hatch out a few of their own last year. It was adorable.
I got 13 eggs today from my girls, the most previously was 11. I let them out when I got home for doing such a great job :)
I received the tracking number for my eggs that shipped! Hope they make it here ok.

I have BCM eggs coming, new incubator is a Genesis 1588, I have 2 now :)
I have 2 BCM roosters and I'm hoping that their young, clumsy butts are getting the job done with the ladies. All of a sudden I'm fearing clear eggs when I candle. I had removed the dominant rooster from the pen a few weeks prior to collecting eggs. He is a calico cochin and was a busy boy.

Thanks! Congrats on more eggs!
I was off work (stayed home to take care of hubby) and I sat in the run while one of my sebrights sat in the nest box for about 30 minutes. I'm trying to figure out which ones are laying. She was in there forever, so I finally gave up. Came back a half hour later, she was out, but no egg. Tried again about an hour later and found 2 eggs! :he
